It was a
heavy, flat present with a note. The note had a sentence in blue script. I
carefully removed the blue paper from the black cord and box.
The
machine woke with a slight pop and the screen lightened. The glow was stamped
on the keyboard and mousepad. As I arose, the screen changed tint. My hands
prepared as I withdrew back to the 4kg laptop. I settled down as my screen
returned to normal tint.
