The Best Day Ever
Woosh! As my canoe was pulled into the murky water, I was off. As I started paddling I could feel shifty winds brushing against my body. Skimpy waves crashed against my canoe.
Then I came across a suspicious little creek with a little bridge.

Flying To Australia
"Whoa," I muttered looking through the window.
My sister said, "Yay, we're in the clouds."
I whispered to my sister Kelly, "We're in the sky."
My brother grumbled, "I'm hungry," but some stranger said, "Shhhhh," because he was watching a movie.
Then the light turned on and food came. It was delicious.

Jumping Off The Bridge
Jahzaya had convinced me to jump off the bridge, but now we're up there my heart pounded and butterflies were fluttering in my stomach. Jahzaya sneaked up behind me in dead silence and as I was nearly ready to jump off I felt someone shove me. When I landed in the water I looked up at Jahzaya and started laughing.

The Trip to the Hospital
Standing there by the mail box, watching the ambulance back away, I could feel my heart racing. "Poor Nanna, would she be okay?" I wondered.
Nanna and Grandpa had been at our place for dinner when suddenly Nanna felt lightheaded and sat down for a while. Dad was trying to distract me from worrying by cooking me dinner outside on the BBQ. Then he called the ambulance.
Looking out the window waiting, watching for the ambulance I had butterflies in my stomach. I didn't know if I wanted to eat dinner. Then the ambulance drove up the drive and the ambulance staff walked into the house. I couldn't help getting up from dinner and peeking around the corner - just watching. Then they had to stand by Nanna's side holding her up to the ambulance and off the drove to the hospital!
Later than night I was hoping that Nanna would be all right. Suddenly Dad got a call and I was eavesdropping. When he finished I quickly asked him who it was and he said it was Nanna. She was going to be all right. So then I went to sleep peacefully, not worrying about anything.

The Crack
He was
only little, but my brother loved to run. We chased each other around the park,
laughing excitedly. Then, "OH NO!" my poor little brother ran into
the middle of a cricket game. You guessed it. Whack! The bat collided with his
head.
I
sprinted him back to my dad with him holding my hand. My dad grabbed my spare
top and covered the blood rushing crack.

Stuck
"OH
NO!" There I was, stuck on the garage roof. I'd climbed up to pick some
plums and then a branch snapped off the tree and blocked my way down. What was
I going to do?
Watching
the birds fly past, I was bored. Seeing my nan cooking dinner made me hungry.
As the sky went grey it made me worried.
Then it
came to me. I just had to jump off. I took a breath then leaped off the roof.

The Fear of the Giant Bridge
There I
was on the bridge, staring down, down, down at the water. I could feel my heart
pound as I watched rocks falling from the fence and splashing into the sea far
below.
As I
finished watching rocks fall, I saw my sister looking at me. I asked, "Why
are you looking at me? I aint jumping off!" She just looked at me with an
angry face, so in my head I asked myself "Should I jump off?"

Deer Stalking
"Be
quiet," my dad whispered as we crept along the bush line stalking deer.
"You need to whisper or you will frighten away the deer." About three
minutes passed without seeing anything, then suddenly something moved. Quickly
turning around, we saw a deer. Smoothly, Dad lifted his gun and fired. After
Dad had fired he ran over and cut the deer's neck to make sure it's dead.
Then we
took some photos of it because it was a beautiful fallow deer. Once we had
finished taking photos we gutted the deer and leaned it up on a tree that would
be easy to find. Then we went goat hunting.
In the
end we shot five goats and one deer. It was the most exciting day of my life.

Step by Step
As I walk
on the wharf with shivers down my spine and goose bumps crawling up my leg, I
watch people jump off with big splashes. I unwind my towel and as I do I feel a
heavy breeze breathe through my skin.
My aunty
encouraged me to jump off with Sarah, my cousin. She's a bit scared but it's
all right because I am too. When I heard a man yell out "I've got
something" and saw him reeling in his fishing rod, I watched closely. In
the end it was...a stingray. That made me feel like not jumping off any more.
